Barks & Backyards was founded by Liz and Kristi with one simple goal, to provide reliable, professional pet care services that homeowners in Fort Myers can truly depend on.
As dog owners ourselves, we understand that pets aren’t just animals, they’re family. Between us, we care for four very different (and very loved) dogs: a German Shepherd, a Golden Retriever, a Chihuahua, and a Doberman/Greyhound mix. From high-energy working breeds to small companion dogs, we know firsthand that every dog, and every household, has unique needs.
That experience is exactly why we built Barks & Backyards the way we did.
Why We Started Barks & Backyards
Like many dog owners, we realized that keeping a yard clean and maintaining consistent pet routines takes time, especially with busy schedules. We saw an opportunity to create a service that was dependable, professional, and built around real accountability.
